When you describe how the air feels, you are describing what is called temperature.
The temperature of the air is always changing.
During the day the sun warms the air, causing the temperature to rise. When the sun goes down at night the temperature goes down and causes the air to feel cooler.

The temperature also changes when the seasons change. In the summer and spring the temperature is higher than the temperature in the winter and fall.
There are four main types of temperature, hot, warm, cool and cold.
